I am a visual explorer, constantly cycling through discovery, reflection, simplification, and realization. My work is immediate and gestural, driven by texture, pattern, mark making, line, shape, contrast, value and color. I use these elements to create pieces that resonate with emotion and energy. Mixed media helps to defines my process, with subjects ranging from pure abstraction and landscapes to still lifes and imagined portraits. I am committed to offering only original works for sale, no reproductions or digital prints.

After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western Michigan University with dual majors in graphic design and photography, I built a successful career in visual communications. I now focus on fine art and music, embracing the creative freedom that is personally liberating.
